Based on Mega Man Battle Network 5, The Medal Operation is an arcade mini-game compilation of sorts. Players can win tokens by playing each mini-game, which may involve activities such as NetBattling or, dare I say it, fishing! This one never made it outside of Japan, and very little is widely known about it. From the looks of the arcade cabinet, however, I'd say it's very flashy and much effort was put into its design.

For fans of both the Rockman EXE game series and visiting arcades, this seems like a match made in heaven. Battle Chip Stadium was an interactive arcade game where, after paying the standard fee, the player would insert three special Battle Chips (likely purchased from within the arcade or won from the game itself) and either battle in-game NetNavis from Mega Man Battle Network 6 or connect with another machine and have a two-player NetBattle. There were initially 12 playable characters, but with the use of specific Battle Chips, new Navis could be used in battle. Over time, both the hardware and the types of chips made available were revised, making later visits a unique experience. This is a pretty unique type of game not often seen in the arcades, so if ever you're just randomly passing by a Japanese arcade...
