SUPER NOAH'S ARK 3D

Take a look at the screenshots and tell me what you see. Yes, it's a game. Yes, it's a first-person shooter. But does it resemble any SNES game you might know? If you are a somewhat enthusiastic SNES fan, you'd know that this is a direct rip-off of...WOLFENSTEIN 3-D (not the PC version, but the SNES version)! Even the scorebar is in the same layout (though different color, font, and new added Noah head)! When you see the text scrolling up after you start the game, it's the same font as Wolfenstein 3-D, and same type of scrolling technique. Wisdom Tree, you cheeky little devils!

The animals on the Ark have all left their cages. You must use your mighty slingshot to put them all to sleep until the Ark sets sail. Easier said than done? Well, probably. I had no urge to leave the first level, so anyone who has played past it can e-mail me, telling me what the future holds after the first level.

The graphics are surely up to par with...WOLFENSTEIN 3-D! The sound is excellent, and almost as good as that from...WOLFENSTEIN 3-D! The controls could be improved, but they do not vary from those of...WOLFENSTEIN 3-D! Yet is this a fun game or not? It's about as fun as...WOLFENSTEIN 3-D!

By now, you're annoyed. Not just annoyed, angry! You wish that Wisdom Tree hadn't done such a horrid thing by ripping off...WOLFENSTEIN 3-D! You wish that they could just try and make their own game! You wish that I had written a better summary of the game! Just don't buy this game and get...WOLFENSTEIN 3-D...instead. It's more fun.

Don't forget to play...WOLFENSTEIN 3-D!

(And seriously, don't forget to read my full review written many years later on Super Noah's Ark 3D!)

Isn't this the best game you've ever seen? I mean, where else can you see a chimp ride a giraffe?

It's a direct rip-off of Wolfenstein 3-D.

Nope. It's still a rip-off.
