"Simplistik" (2007)
In essence, this album is very simplistic. While engulfing everything I knew about looping and composing at that point, I was able to craft an album where loops and simple melodies could prevail. Basically a continuation of the upswing of good melodies from the previous album, Simplistik sounds a bit better overall and has some killer tunes, especially later on in the album. In fact, I distinctly remember developing the song "Sick House", going from a brief bassline and building upon it to create the opus house track you have before you. Perhaps this is the most memorable album of the first five albums, all of which were composed during my five-year stint in university. |
