Haven't you heard? I'm Meowskivich!

So, I was bored, didn't know what to watch, pressed the random button on Crunchyroll, and this is where I ended up.

This was me in high school. Almost.

"Haven't you heard? I'm Sakamoto" a.k.a. "Sakamoto desu ga?" is a show revolving around the people of a humble city in Japan and how their lives are changed by the introduction of Sakamoto, an incredibly suave high school student. Some are jealous of the attention Sakamoto receives, and the rest are utterly enamored. Every episode involves Sakamoto in some way turning a situation on its head in the most stylish way possible, going for a non-violent solution every time, even when being beaten bloody himself. The series is merely 13 episodes long, with the 13th being the epilogue. Each episode focuses on a particular set of incidents, usually being isolated from each other but also setting up a more evolved plot later on in some cases, though there is one overarching set of events that lead to the climax of the series.

I will not spoil anything as I feel this is one show you really should take a moment to watch. On surface value, the show doesn't seem to be much special, but it really strikes a chord with me. Speaking of chord, check out this cover of the theme:

If that hasn't got you pumped up, then I'm sorry, but go watch this show anyway. It's certainly something to watch to just have a good laugh at its over-the-top presentation of mundane tasks. Again, I'm not sponsored by Crunchyroll but I wouldn't mind being one, but here's the link for you to witness this thing for yourself:
